TreelineOPSGear Concept: I have deployed/mobilized 7 times with the US Army Reserve, with 4 combat tours (2 in Iraq and 2 in Afghanistan).

Each time I deployed I took the stuff the Army issued me and modified it to what I liked but it never seemed to fit correctly. So I went to various tailors on base and had them make me stuff that came in handy.

With each deployment, I refined what worked and what didn’t work and tested the concepts. Between each deployment, I asked my wife to improve on the different designs and she got so sick of it that she showed me the sewing machine, taught me a few pointers and away I went.
